Former activities
Bruna Brembilla first went into politics at the age of eighteen, and since 1980 has been involved in local government with the Town Council of Cesano Boscone, a town near Milano. There she has held various posts and was Mayor for twelve years, from 1982 to 2004.
Current activities
Since 2004 she has been a member of the centre-left Executive Committee of the Province, led by Filippo Penati. She heads the Environmental Division and is President of the Southern Agricultural Park of Milan.
President of the Environmental Sector of the Union of the Provinces of Lombardy (UPL), of ATO (Optimal Local Area Water Services) and of the authorising body for energy certifiers (SACERT).
