Former activities

Bruna Brembilla first went into politics at the age of eighteen, and  since 1980 has been involved in local government with the Town Council of Cesano Boscone, a town near Milano. There she has held various posts and was Mayor for twelve years, from 1982 to 2004.

Current activities

Since 2004 she has been a member of the centre-left Executive Committee of the Province, led by Filippo Penati. She heads the Environmental Division and is President of the Southern Agricultural Park of Milan.

• President of the Environmental Sector of the Union of the Provinces of Lombardy (UPL), of ATO (Optimal Local Area Water Services) and of the authorising body for energy certifiers (SACERT).

• Vice-President of Fedenatur (the European Federation of Protected Peri-Urban Areas)

• Vice-President of Fedarene

• Member of the Administrative Council for the canals of Lombardy (SCARL)
