Activities

Roger Léron started his career as a Research Attaché to the Research Center in Grenoble, to then pursue as Project Manager at the Business Development Agency in Drôme.

In 1977 he became Deputy to the Mayor of Valence, in charge of economic, financial and urban sectors. 

The same year he became Regional Councillor for the Rhône-Alpes region and founded Rhônalpénergie-Environnement one year later.  He became president of this same environmental agency in 1992. 

Between 2000 and 2006, Roger Leron lead  

Mr. Léron continues his public career and occupies multiple high level positions until 1995 when he is appointed the President of FEDARENE and finds himself at the head of FEDARENE for over 10 years until May 2007. Since 2007, he is Vice-president for Energy and Climate Change.

Education

Roger Léron studied at the University of Grenoble, Faculty of Law and received a Degree in Law, alongside a Diploma in Political Science from Grenoble Institute of Political Studies.
