Activities

 Current activities

• Rural entrepreneur and Project manager in Viitasaari.

• Member of the Town Council as well as a member of the Board of Administration in Viitasaari.

  Her challenge is to place as a member also in the Educational Board and Environmental Board of the city administration. The Environmental Board has roles as a Building-site Department and Building Supervision Office.

• For eleven years, member of the Board of Administration for Viitasaaren Lämpö (local unit for heat technology utilizing natural resources in a responsible way).

• Project manager in a regional unit of villages. This work is to promote local activities and locally initiated rural development. There are 19 similar coalitions in Finland. The regional coalitions work also for the national and transnational projects which promote economic actions and services. Her status in rural development societies is a Manager of Villages in Central Finland.

• Another regional duty is her membership in the Board of Administration for the Regional Council of Central Finland. Regional Council of Central Finland is a joint municipal authority which works to promote the prosperity of the region (Central Finland) by taking charge of regional development and preparing long-term regional plans. It creates also a development strategy for the region (spatial development planning). The regional Council is responsible for EU’s structural policy within its territory.

Former activities

She worked eleven years in Helsinki, the Capital of Finland, for the immigration of Helsinki Police Department. Meanwhile all this she was connected with International Police Association and had different kinds of social and international duties.

She graduated from the Police Academy of Tampere 1983 and

She has studied agriculture and has got two different degrees of rural items.
