Join the Sustainable Energy Europe 2005-2008 Campaign

Set in the context of the EU’s commitment to change the landscape of energy and building upon the Campaign for Take-Off (2000-2003), Sustainable Energy Europe 2005-2008 has been launched for a period of four years and will contribute to the achievement of EU energy policy goals and targets in the fields of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, clean transport and alternative fuels.

One of the key instruments within the Campaign will be the Sustainable Energy Partnership, designed to actively involve and promote a wide range of sustainable energy projects and programmes intended to have a significant impact upon the related energy environment in the European Union.

The Sustainable Energy Partnership will provide a highly-visible and prestigious mark of European excellence and, by joining the Campaign in this way, main renewable energy actors will not only express their commitment to change the landscape of energy in Europe, but will benefit from participation in a substantial European network, representing main energy actors that are currently engaged in a wide range of sustainable energy programmes or projects across Europe.

Sustainable Energy Partners will also benefit from various promotion, dissemination and networking tools and activities, including:

  • Active participation/dissemination at high-level events, such as the Annual Conference and European Sustainable Energy Days or Weeks

  • Participation in the Campaign’s Annual Award Competition, which rewards outstanding projects and programmes

  • Receipt of the EU Sustainable Energy Europe Acknowledgement, Campaign Logo and Promotional Toolbox

  • Inclusion of project description in the Annual Sustainable Energy Partnership Catalogue and on the Campaign website

  • Promotion of all Partnership projects and programmes in various dissemination tools, including the Campaign Annual Catalogue, bi-annual Newsletter and the website

  • An opportunity to share best practices through a network of sustainable energy contacts

  • Access to the Public Relations and Media Relations Desks of the Campaign, offering support and information to all potential and realized Partners

Further information about all aspects of this initiative, including a clear and straightforward online application form and detailed guidelines on the Sustainable Energy Partnership is now available on the Campaign website: www.sustenergy.org
