The case study is about energy saving achievements gained in the house of Cudville Green in the framework of the SERVE project.
The house, located in Cudville Green, was built in the 1980’s. It is constructed of cavity walls with a standard pitched roof. To the rear there is a conservatory built in the last few years. The house has been extensively upgraded to include significantly higher thermal performance standards on almost every energy loss element: cavity wall insulation, roof insulation, high efficiency condensing boiler, heating controls, high efficiency wood burning stove, low U Value windows, LED Lighting.
