Within the framework of the SERVE Project, the case study focuses on Brendan Power’s experience living with his family in “The Village”, Cloughjordan, County Tipperary, Ireland in a two storey detached house.

The case study deals with the eco village experience of Brendan Power, living in “The Village”, Cloughjordan, County Tipperary, Ireland in a two storey detached house. His apartment is constructed of a timber frame with cast hemp and lime walls while the unoccupied attic space has cellulose insulation. The family follows a sustainable lifestyle growing vegetables and fruit in the onsite garden.
