Within the framework of the SERVE Project, the case study focuses on the experience of the householder Annemarie Nugent, living with her family in ‘The Village’, Cloughjordan, County Tipperary, Ireland in a two storey closed wall timber construction, kit house. The main reason convinced Mrs. Nugent to move to Cloughjordan has been a sense of unsustainable pattern of modern lifestyles. Advantages, disadvantages and predicted Impact on regional and national level of this innovative living solution are properly highlighted in the case study.
