The name of the householder interviewed for the purpose of SERVE eco village case study no.6 is John Jopling. He lives in ‘The Village’, Cloughjordan, County Tipperary, Ireland in a detached two storey hemp-lime constructed house. The main motivation that led him to join the eco village and participate in the SERVE project has been the desire to take part in a community. John’s social and environmental ideals, combined with his legal knowledge and expertise, are dedicated to the implementation of this innovative project.
