The conference, which was organised by FEDARENE and B.&S.U.Beratungs- und Service-Gesellschaft Umwelt mbH in close cooperation with the Senate Department for Health, Environment and Consumer protection of the Land of Berlin,  will provide an opportunity for participants to learn and discuss successful approaches regarding the use of Structural Funds in cities and municipalities for the development and improvement of energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources. The main aim of the conference is to transfer experience from Member States that have already accumulated many years of experience in this field to other and especially new Member States in order to facilitate the implementation of highly effective solutions and approaches and also to discuss potential challenges.
