CONCERTO
Networking
The CONCERTO event will take place in the Sheraton Hotel in
Brussels on 21 and 22 January 2010. The Networking and
Knowledge-sharing meeting is a 1.5-day gathering designed
exclusively for CONCERTO project partners, and is an unique
opportunity to meet and exchange experiences with your
counterparts involved in other projects, and with European
Commission officials. The main objective of the CONCERTO is to
join innovation and demonstration efforts in the fields of
renewable energy, energy efficiency and the building sector.
CONCERTO focuses both on existing and new buildings-transforming
buildings from low-energy infrastructures into high energy
performance ones in a cost effective way to offer massive energy
savings potential that could reach up to 80%. A draft of the

The KLIMADES-
Conference on climate & housing in Mediterranean countries
The Local Energy Agency of
Montpellier (ALE Montpellier),
with its consortium partners in
Lleida (Catalonia) and
Medjimurje (Croatia) wants,
during the European contract
duration, to set up a meeting on
4-5 February 2010 on climate and
housing around Mediterranean
countries. These conferences aim
at working and exchanging
between local or regional energy
agencies and also professionals
and local authorities, about the
Mediterranean specificities. In
parallel, animations for the
general public on the central
square of the Comedie, historic
and popular place of Montpellier
will take place. You will find

ICT for Energy Efficiency
The second
EU High Level event on ICT for Energy
Efficiency will take place in Brussels on the 23rd and 24th
February 2010 and is organised by the European Commission in cooperation
with the Spanish Presidency of the EU. The pre-registration for the
event is open:

aims to become a vehicle to drive progress in the transition to an
energy-efficient economy and a sustainable society, following the
Commission Recommendation of "Mobilising ICT to facilitate the
transition to an energy-efficient, low-carbon economy" adopted on
October 9th 2009. Discussions will be focused on policies and technical
advances in the fields of Smart Cities, Smart Buildings, Logistics and
Transport, Smart Grids, Smart Metering, Energy Efficient Date Centres,
New Business Models on an Energy Liberalised Market and the role of the

The CEP® Clean
Energy & Passivehouse is an international trade fair and
congress for renewable energies and passive houses and takes
place annually in the Messe Stuttgart. At the CEP®, you will
