Energy in Agriculture, August 23 2016

The inaugural Energy in Agriculture event takes place at Gurteen Agricultural College, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary on August 23rd 2016.

Are you interested in renewable energy opportunities or saving costs on your farm through achieving better energy efficiency? This FREE event will feature on-farm practical demonstrations of renewable energy installations, seminars on the opportunities and challenges, plus an EXPO of relevant suppliers and organisations.

The event will set the scene of what’s currently happening in energy in agriculture in Ireland and will give examples of successful projects in solar photovoltaic, wind and biomass. We want everyone who attends to walk away with new knowledge, new contacts and new ideas.

The full programme of case studies, talks and renewable energy demos is available on

The event partners are Teagasc, Tipperary Energy Agency, Gurteen Agricultural College and Tipperary County Council. Sponsored by Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland.

There are a limited number of places to exhibit and the cost is €250 plus VAT. Places are limited, book your place today.
