The Regional Association for Energy and Environment (RAEE) of Lower Danube was set up in 2013 in Galati, Romania.
The Association has as members, partners and associates:
- The County Council of Galati,
- The Local Council of Galati,
- The Chamber of Commerce and Industry,
- The University “Lower Danube” of Galati,
- Danubius”Private University of Galati,
- The EuroRegion “Lower Danube” of Galati,
- Technopol Association,
- The Industrial Park,
- The Free Zone, and public local authorities, private companies, as well as third interested parties.
Together with all its members, RAEE seeks to develop projects in the fields of: energy, regenerable energy, wind, sun, micro and hidro, green houses, ecourban transport, buildings energetic efficiency, environment etc.
RAEE became a member of FEDARENE (European Federation of Agencies and Regions for Energy and the Environment) in October, 2013 and benefits of representation opportunities at any level in Brussels European Entities.
The Association benefits of the access to a transfrontier center for environment, where partners from Eastern Europe are seeking to develop European projects, for the “Lower Danube”region, as well as for the Balkan and Black Sea economic areas.
RAEE low Danuble provides full spaces for study, IT logistic and university entities for educational programs, throughout students, youth, local representatives, at all levels as well as the co-financing for PR events and workshops.
