Agencia Valenciana de la Energía" (AVEN) is a  entity of the Generalitat Valenciana belonging to the Conselleria d’Innovació i Competitivitat and it has for purpose the administration and execution of the energy policy in the scope of the Comunitat Valenciana.

AVEN is carrying out out the energy ordination and planning of agreement with the Valencian Government’s general guidelines, in coordination with the different administrations and in the mark of the common energy policy, with the purpose of getting the following objectives: energy diversification, efficiency and supply quality, energy saving, self-sufficiency, promotion of the renewable energy, promotion of infrastructures, use of new technologies and respect of the environment.

AVEN for the execution of its aims lends the following services: energy advice, control of facilities and supply, grants and financing, training and investigation, campaigns of information and collaboration with the European Union.
