ARPE MIDI-PYRENEES

ARPE Midi-Pyrénées is a regional agency, created in 1991 by the regional council of Midi-Pyrénées. It is a non-profit-making association, formed with 91 members (institutions, socio-professionals). The agency counts with a 3.4 M d’Euros annual budget, coming mostly from the Regional Council of Midi-Pyrénées (more than 80 %), and from other partners involved in environmental activities. It is the first environmental agency certified ISO 14001 in France, setting up educational actions, information programs and leaderships concerning environment and providing technical supports to project managers.  ARPE is elaborating new methods, carrying out and following experiments and leading of territorial networks.
