Main Activities :
B&SU's main scope of activity is the development of strategies for public environmental promotion and the trust management of funds for the improvement of environmental performance in small and medium-sized enterprises, in the labour market and in research activities.
Within this scope of operation, B&SU offers a complete technical and financial management service for all projects and programmes (including those co-financed by the EU), project development, documentation, dissemination and information services as well as workshop, conference and seminar organisation.
Objectives and strategy :
B&SU was formed in 1991 to act as an interface between the public and private sectors in the State of Berlin and has since built up a large network of project partnerships, both nationally and internationally, in all fields related to the environment, economic and regional development and education and training.
B&SU actively promotes existing environmental and energy networks such as FEDARENE, the Sustainable Cities and Towns Campaign and the European Urban Observatory.
