In 1990, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur's agency was one of the founders of Fedarene, after a 2 years interruption of the membership; they come back as the Energy and Environment Service of the Regional Council. Fedarene wish to welcome them as new member. Most of you know the staff of this Energy and Environment Service that is nearly the same than before.

Pursuing the mission started in 1980, they have defined the priorities for a sustainable territory which have been formalized by the plan-contract, signed between the national state and the Regional Council, aiming to create the frame of a sustainable development of the territory, to contribute to a more efficient and appropriate use of the energy in the region,  and to enhance the assets and the energy specificities of the region.
