The Regional Agency For energy saving in Torun is a voluntary, self-governing association of producers,
distributors and consumers of energy, producers of respective facilities along with other
persons connected to the above activity.
The basic objective of the agency's activity is to improve power management, to stimulate
appropriate directions of its development, with proecological aspects taken into
consideration, and to initiate optimum generating, distribution and utilization of all the
forms of energy, as well as representing the members associated in the Agency Head office
of our Agency is Torun city. In 1998 Torun was inscribed on World Heritage List UNESCO.
Statute purposes:

to coordinate programmes and entreprises undertaken to
achieve energy saving,
-
to gain financial ressources for undertakings related to
energy problems,
-
consulting and expert opinions,
-
training for specialist staff,
-
activity in the fields of information, publication and
education,
-
to initiate, promote and run research and development tasks
as well as to introduce innovations.
