28th International Expert Meeting – PEGASUS Final Conference


The 28th International Expert Meeting Power Engineering 2019 will be held at the Faculty for Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in Maribor, Slovenia, from May 14th to 16th 2019.

As the name of the conference implies, the themes are related to energy in local communities and beyond. This year, the main topic of the conference is Energy Management—Energy Efficiency and Flexibility”, on which there will be keynote lectures and a roundtable. This final conference of the PEGASUS Interreg-MED project will be focused on the experimenting of a simulation of the functioning of microgrids in 7 pilot areas, including Slovenia (learn about the pilot here in the Sport park Ruše).

As a part of the 28th International Expert Meeting Komunalna energetika – Power Engineering 2019, five thematic group discussions are foreseen with different themes:

  • Energy Management;
  • Smart Buildings, Grids and Cities and E-mobility;
  • Electricity production from renewable energy sources;
  • Energy Devices and Machines;
  • Student section: The meeting is also an opportunity for postgraduate students to present their research in the field of energy and energy conversion and exchange experiences with their colleagues.

The group discussions will comprise of presentations and discussions of five to six papers. The deadline for submitting the final papers for the presentation is March 15TH 2019. The best papers will be selected for second review and publication in a scientific journal (Elektrotehniški vestnik). More info on the presentation HERE.
