The German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, the State of Baden-Württemberg and the City of Heidelberg will jointly host the International Conference on Climate Action – ICCA2019 – in Heidelberg on May 22 and 23 2019. The conference will bring together leaders and decision makers from states, regions and cities as well as stakeholders and experts from around the world.
ICCA2019 will offer a varied and dialogue-oriented programme, including three plenary sessions and several parallel interactive cluster sequences. Collaborative climate action will be considered from sectoral perspectives and in the light of cross-sectoral policy levers. Furthermore, participants will have the opportunity to contribute to and advance initiatives for the UN Secretary-General’s Climate Action Summit in September 2019. ICCA2019 particularly invites decision-makers at all levels of government and multipliers for climate-friendly sustainable development.
