Don’t miss IRENA’s 3rd webinar “Integration of low-temperature energy sources into existing district energy networks and buildings”.
In the framework of the “Energy Solutions for Cities of the Future” project, and under the umbrella of the Global Geothermal Alliance, IRENA and Aalborg University are organising a series of three webinars to increase knowledge of local and national policy-makers, and other key stakeholders on the options and existing tools to facilitate fuel switch to renewable energy in district heating and cooling networks in cities.
The main objective of the webinars is to inform policy makers at the national and local level about available options and tools to integrate low-temperature renewable energy sources into district heating and cooling networks. This will build on the ongoing IRENA work on “Energy Solutions for Cities of the Future.”
The third and last webinar will take place on 26 May 2020 between 10:00 and 12:00. It will present the technical solutions for the integration of low-temperature renewable energy sources into district energy networks. The focus will be on modification of the networks and building stock, technology specific challenges and solutions, and will also feature a case of district cooling.
Instructions to join the webinar will be sent following registration.
Please find the recording of the first and second webinar below, along with the presentation slides: If you missed the previous webinars, here are the slides and recording:
Webinar 1: Strategic heating and cooling planning for the integration of low-temperature renewable energy sources in district energy networks: What key success factors?
