Regionalna Energetska Agencija Kvarner (REA Kvarner)

 
Regional Energy Agency Kvarner Ltd./ Regionalna energetska agencija Kvarner (REA Kvarner) was established in 2009 by the County of Primorje – Gorski Kotar under the framework of the Intelligent Energy Europe programme.
The agency is set up as a non-profit public owned enterprise, a single organization and institutionalized framework for more rational use of existing energy resources, as well as stimulating energy production from renewable and alternative sources in the County.
 

Objectives

  • drafting of energy balance sheets and energy action plans,
  • facilitating energy efficiency plans implementation,
  • stimulating the use of renewable energy sources,
  • assembling/supporting of expert potential,
  • supporting other subjects included in energy development actions on a regional or local level, providing energy efficiency and renewable energy sources related information and consulting.

On 13-15 February 2019, the Regional Energy Agency of Primorsko-goranska County – REA Kvarner – hosted the 7th ManagEnergy professional mission, the first one in Croatia.
