The event, organised by the UK Green Building Council, was entitled Towards Green Deal 2.0 and was also attended by Decc Minister Greeg Barker. Highlights of the event can be seen at the UKGBC website, here: www.ukgbc.org/events/green-deal-one-year-0

Catrin’s presentation included the call for Ministers to start retrofitting their homes to drive demand for Green Deal. She also pointed out that we need the stick, carrot and the tambourine to get retrofit going, and there is a need to have the time to give proper advice and engage with local builders to install at the home renovation point.
