Regione Lombardia really purposes to reduce GHGs’s emissions, suggesting itself as a best practice at a national level in reaching Kyoto targets.

The Plan foresees to save more than 2.000.000 tons (Sustainability Scenario) or 3.000.000 tons (High Sustainability Scenario) of GHGs’s emissions by 2012. Scenarios have been calculated not considering Emission Trading’s target referred to the regional industrial sector.

The Rhône-Alpes Region dedicates an amount of 100 million Euro for 5 years for the development of renewable energies, performing buildings and policies for local energy actions and accompanying measures.
